Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) has announced the launch of the ISE Foundation, a new industry-led initiative designed to support the long-term development of the audiovisual and systems integration sector beyond the annual exhibition.
The foundation has been established in collaboration with ISE’s co-owners, AVIXA and CEDIA, with additional support from local authorities in Barcelona and the Government of Catalonia. Its objective is to create a structured platform that enables year-round initiatives focused on professional development, innovation, and community engagement.
One of the key areas of focus for the ISE Foundation is talent development. Existing educational initiatives are set to expand, including programmes aimed at training educators and supporting early-career professionals. New activities, such as career-oriented events and vocational pathways aligned with industry needs, are also planned to help strengthen the future workforce of the AV and integrated systems sector.
Innovation support represents another core pillar of the foundation. Building on the success of startup-focused initiatives showcased at recent ISE editions, the foundation aims to provide greater continuity and long-term support for emerging companies, helping them maintain momentum beyond the exhibition period.
In addition, the foundation places strong emphasis on social responsibility, highlighting the broader value of audiovisual and integrated technologies within society. Collaborative projects are being developed with cultural, educational, and social institutions across the region, reinforcing connections between the AV industry and local communities.
Through the establishment of the ISE Foundation, ISE seeks to extend its role from a leading annual exhibition to a year-round contributor to industry growth, innovation, and social impact, creating lasting value for professionals and the wider ecosystem.
